need help w/ my softwares

i need help on my softwares.. i use cubase sx for my multi track and reason 2.5 as my sound engine.. everything worked perfect except for the latency... then i switched to the KX drivers in place for my Sound Blaster live... then the latency was gone...

here's the problem.. before i switched to KX, i can see all the instruments active in reason 2.5 from my cubase... when i was still using the creative drivers supplied.. then i switched to KX.. now i cant see the instruments in reason from my cubase.... i tried to see all the settings.. but all was in place... i can still use reason though from cubase... but it doesnt "save" the instruments that i use on a channel in cubase... hope you can see help me with this problem..

thanks y'all

I highly recommend the Kx drivers, they lowered my latency tenfold from around 20-22 ms to about 2ms...not to mention the added versatility it gives you over the rest of your sound card.

Edit: The CPU meter in Cubase is also much more responsive...and accurate.

Have the SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro. Cubase and Reason both use the 24bit\96Khz ASIO driver. Both Cubase SX 2 and Reason 2.5 record audio at 24Bit 96000Khz using this driver. Everything works great. Couldn't be happier with this card because while I love producing music, I love playing games even more and this card rocks for gaming.

I use Audigy LS with ASIO 4 ALL drivers..get about 2-5ms latency..i can't really feel it at all though, and with CubaseSX 2.0 you can "freeze" your instruments, which converts your VST into an audio track this would allow you to produce a 35 track song using an AC97 soundcard(shudder).
