Well, they are built like a tank so if you need a good kb anyway you could go for it. I think you could swap the jp 8000 for the nordlead to the must haves. I'm bored by the jp it's overused, it was cool 7 years ago I wouldn't consider buying it now. That's why I went for the an1x some time ago. I did some killer patches with it
and yea programming is an important skill
just stay awake all night programming some patches you've done from scratch. Worked for me |
True on the overused sound, but damm I love that sound tho. Ya think 20 years from now that the sound will be enjoyable as it is today, and 7 years ago
As Far as built like a Tank Keyboards.. What is the life estimate of a keyboard, meaning that you keep it in a good / smoke Free Room. Im so damm scared these days of electronics, shit breaking in a few years. I mean, i like to keep my shit atleast 10-15 Years, if for anything for my kids to play on, and say hey this is what dad used to make choonz. They may laugh, but they can learn
As far as programming. My biggest thing so far, is learning the Jargon/Terms, and trying to visualize what the waveform is reallying doing realtime. I mean I start with a Init Patch. just a plain sound, and it's like damm, what to turn next, and when u do out of desperation, it don't change much. It's some deep shit.
Hell, ive read the damm Virus Tutoral that came with my Virus and what is scary for me is I get lost in that bitch. and i don't want to be lost. But never fear, I won't give up. That is why I keep my eyes posted on the forums for peeps to try and relay it in a little better fashionable terms, but I understand you can only explain so far.
