My husband proposed to me on Thanksgiving day. We were all seated around the big table at my mum's and we were all taking turns, standing up and saying what we each had to be thankful for during the year. He stood up and said that he was thankful that he had met me and then, in front of my entire family, he turned and asked me to marry him. How could I say no? Everybody was applauding and cheering and my mum and sis were crying. An incredible day. I will remember it forever.
