I dont get why people start threads where something isnt confirmed in the first place...

if you know that something is confirmed 100% (promoter/dj tells u, u see it on a djs/booking agencies website) then fine post whatever the fuck you want...

but when people post things that arent 100% CONFIRMED it doesnt exactly help a situation...bookings have been cancelled in the past because of things like this...

tho if someone cancels a booking due to hype on a messageboard...they got issues imo.

the reason why he didnt want people smoking @ ARC is because NYC has a bylaw where people arent allowed to smoke in clubs. Danny knows that in an environment that isnt exactly friendly to nightclubs in the first place (remember Twilo and Limelight???), something as small as that could have had the club shut down for GOOD! That is why he was anti-smoking @ ARC!

About the no-glowsitcks policy, good! I hate those things and the people that use them. As far as the other shit goes, i'd have to say that he goes a little over the top and is a little WHACK in that respect lol...

no offence...these stories make him sound like he is a perfectionist and total nob....most stories i pay no attention to tho....he would fit right in with the stories of detroit techno deejays if they were true.

I know he has posted on clubplanet before in their New York forum... not sure if he hangs out on TA though.

And for those who aren't too sure about the hype, bear in mind that for Digweed's birthday, John wanted noone else to spin but Danny. That must say something about the guy...
