Awesome for first time production Adam. Enjoyed the melody immensly however felt that it dragged on from about the 2.20 min mark. Maybe consider some subtle rifts and more samples to go with the Naked angel one that it is implemented throughout the track with the Ghost vocal. Keep up da good work

Since when did you get into production? Or is this just what you would like to have?

I've been producing sounds, keys, and simple loops that I like for about 6 months...Never tried writing tracks as I can't get my ideas out, but have been creating a sound library for a time when I can get an idea out.

Finally listened to it and it's quite nice. I think you could add a bit more elements to it since it does sound a bit repetive in some places but in all its real good.

I think you should construct a pad for it fill the emptiness.

Choose different settings for the effects of the song, like a different sounding samples.

I think you should alot of reverb onto it and tweak the settings around.

The bassline definetly needs changing but its good, also add more percussion effects to give the bassline a more powering effect.

in all a fantasic song, this definetly looks to be a nice prog song but just work on it a bit more.

Keep at it buddy.

Yeh Buzz is awesome for progressive music, high quality. I haven't used it much but my friend made a awesome prog song out of it which amazed me.

I would def. recommend it prog producers... Adam?

will also dl this when i get home.
look forward to having a listen.

just a few points with production programs however. [i've dabbled with several in the last 2 months to see which fit my needs most]

i don't believe floops is inferior. as long as you use high quality samples, and make the most of quality VSTi's and DXi's. it has a great sequencer interface. i don't think anybody can argue with that, and there're more than enough producers that have released great stuff on it. i.e. guyver, dumonde. i don't see much of a purpose in jumping from floops to reason, also seeing reason is an all in 1 package. once you get that VSTi exposure, you'll want to keep it. if you really feel the need to move on to something bigger, move on to something like cubase or logic.

i've also checked out buzz dj way, and its a great program. it's not too difficult to get your head around and its so powerful in its ability to layer and detail. but like you said, its not for everybody. i just found staring at scroll bars from the machines helluva lot tedious. its amazing what staring at knobs will do for your creativity =p
