Well... Iv seen people do that with house and its. ok.
I spin trance and like to let the music flow. i think if i was playing you guys a nice melodic song, and then i decided to drop out the mid ranges to make the mix crazy. it would sound pretty bad.
I like to just mix and let the song play. the real trick is getting the two to mix flawlessly.

By "crazy mixing abilities" it was just slang for great mixing, smooth transitions, just the right amount of eq'ing, too much can get annoying, putting songs together that I think resemble each other, or rather feed off each other. I want to let my mixing stand for itself.
If people don't enjoy my track selection or my particular taste of music at least they can say I can mix like a motha fucka.
I myself would find it hard to play 'anthems' THATS CUZ I HAVE NONE! Juno and Above the sky and Satellite are great..u can browse hundred of tracks effortlessly, as opposed to taking 5 to the listening booth, and wasting 15 minutes finding out they are shit. The closest I have to an anthem(and ill say its more of a classic) is For an Angel. Other shit, well..things like Energize(Al Janaero) Stiff and Rough(Dark Noize) Ricky le Roy..hell ive never heard of em, but they sounded good, so I layed down the cash. Innovation is the key Skywarp. Stay stagnant too long and u r toast brother!

like picotto style playin around with the EQ's drives the crowd into a frenzy. but if a diff dj with diff music tried that it may not produce the same results..
