I'm planning on spending my spring break with a few friends at the WMC, and I've been looking into the Clay hotel since it looks nice, has low prices, and seems like there will be lots of friendly TA's there.
However, I'm pretty concerned though about how far away it is from the Wyndham resort that the actual conference is taking place at. Mapquest says the clay hotel is like 22 miles away for the Wyndham.
I don't really want to have to take a long taxi ride everyday just to get to the conference, but is that what you guys are planning on? Or do some of you already have cars that you're bringing to Miami? Or maybe I've got all this distance stuff wrong. Could somebody shed some light on what the general daily travel plan is? Thanks a ton!
clay = 15th and Washington (3rd ave)...
Its right on bus line to space (10 minute bus ride) and its right there where all the lcubs in SoBe..
Beach is on 1st ave...
My Mexican sushi place is on Ocean Ave anbd 15th..

You guys make sure you give me yoru reservation number. Last night they said the shared rooms will prob. have to be on a diff floor than they private ones but i will call today to speak to daytime mgr and make sure.
