The 2 rekkids being mixed should be 'in harmony', they should sound good when played at the same time and transitioned
eg: one track has vocals, and while you're mixing, the other track has vocals.. vocals over vocals = bad
eg2: one noisey track being mixed into a chillin progressive track.. although they are around the same bpm, the mix is next to impossible because the transition from a noisey Mauro Picotto style rekkid to something like a Sandra Collins progressive mix is just too large of a transition

I may not have any formal music training, everything i know i learned on my own through years of DJing, so the way i describe things may not always be as clear as i would like them to be
