zero did have a reputation before as a proper rude boy speed garage night on fridays, as with charles st, a lot of ppl didnt like the venues cos of the trouble associated with them. But the rude boy nights have gone now at zero as the mgr told us she dont want no more r&b/garage and the shit that goes with it. Plus she's proper into her techno and stuff 
The venue itself is quite cool IMO, and for those who have been there, u gotta admit the sound system is quite sweet for what it is.
There are quite a few music related dance nights thru feb and stuff. Well from what it seems on the GC boards that there are few peeps setting up monday trance nights there. Thurs once a month goes to turbulence which is like hard dance hard house. Then the once a month on a sat with the likes of zogg etc
