but there are a few good dining places around and on ave x and west 6th a decent lounge in brooklyn called Miami =]
in the summer u have handball on in brighton beach....

otherwise man go to the city its more alive there i can show u a few book clubs if ur interested in that sort of thing...

BRO get the fuck out of the Brighton area - there are places to go, Im not gonna say that there is an abundance, but you can go to Bay Ridge and Downtown Brooklyn. If you drive down 4th avenue in Bay Ridge there are plenty of places to eat like Uno's (on 92nd) or between 86th and 87th there is a good sushi place. In Downtown Brooklyn there is Grimaldi's, which hands down is the best pizza in the world, and a Thai place - I think its called Sea - My sister told me the food was great and it was cheap, the place also has a lounge area with bar and music.
