released today in the US, $14 on cduniverse.com, might be a little too downtempo for me, but only have been able to listen to the brief samples online.

This has been out months in the UK- I've walked past it on the soundtracks section of HMV plenty of times.

Yeah same in Canada, some HMVs had it out.
That's where I ended up getting my copy when Amazon failed.

It's a great disc btw, the DVD audio is just perfect if you have a home theatre, the experience is wonderful!

OH MY GOSH ***fanboy reaction***

CUE FERRIS WHEEL THEME!!!
AWESOME!!!!!!

It's almost Yannilike in his melody, and that's a huge compliment (i.e. Yanni's "Reflections of Passion" comes to mind).

To put things in perspective though, one thing I have always admired about BT is that he still views himself as a student of music despite his enormous theoretical base of knowledge and his practical means of carrying it out over the years. His diversity appeals to me.

If BT's generic, it's because he either invented or pioneered the genre. (Sort of kidding.) Young'uns takin' stutter edits for granted...

But in all fairness, his music for "Die Hard Trilogy" the video game was over-loopy and sounded like someone else got into his treasure trove and cut-and-pasted segments together. His film scores, however, are a VERY different story.

good stuff.

those expecting a dance or trance theme will be disappointed.
instead, it is just really good music that i appreciate

the surround sound is really impressive. i hope that more musicians will start to record and release albums in surround sound format
