Tops nite!
I ended up not running into anyone ( ) and only seen cameron there but didnt get a chance to say hello.
Ended up deciding not to risk taking my digital camera in so my photos only consist of those from my phone camera, but ill post them up in a day or so.
CHOON of the evening for me was As The Rush Comes! I was video-ing the crowd from the side during the very start of binary finary and my friends dissappeared, so i thought what the hell, and kept dancing away, then heard the very first notes of ATRC so i was running frantically through the crowd trying to find my friends. My apologies to anyone i bumped on the way through :P
Also the night had some other significance for me as i was offered a chance at getting myself a residency at a yet unnamed club in a few months time, so i was bouncing out of my skin!
I was really hanging out for holding onto nothing, but when the mix headed a bit hard towards the middle, we ventured upstairs to cargo for a bit of socialising. Came back down to the sounds of music is life being brought into the mix but we were on teh way out (left at about 4am?)
Tops night, i especially enjoyed jumping jacks short set, can anyone confirm for me if that was a typical set for him? If so, ill be heading over to sublime a bit more often, as ive never been before (only on saturdays)

Well ok heres my rant from last night. I rocked up early at HOME as we needed to setup the recording gear, its amazing seeing an empty club with all the lights going. Anyways we got the gear setup. Then we headed to the terrace which was closed off at this stage.
11:15pm The Terrace, there was a team of guys there with filming gear, they had lights and cameras the works. Our interview was being recorded and we didn't know it, apparently for a webcast. Anyway Armin turns up with his girlfriend and brother, and the funny thing was, they walk through the door and Armin and his GF both point at me, im like what? Hahah then they say "nice shirt" ( I was wearing my Sensation White shirt) and his gf says "did you go" and I replied "of course!"

Anyway the interview got underway and I got a few shots of the interview, along with getting my records signed, with Armin drawing silly stick men with headphones all over them haha
The interview finished and we grabbed a few shots with Armin before we all headed downstairs. I spoke to Armins GF for a while about travelling and how she finds following Armin to events and clubs, seems she likes clubs more than events, she said that the Sublime event far exceeded that of Two Tribes.

Armins brother was a hoot, I think he was quite drunk and was dancing around all night backstage, he was being really friendly to the crowd and getting everything signed that was pushed forward, he even brought some die hard fans into the VIP area hahaha you know who you are. He told me he loves the music also and dj's a bot hahah would love to see armin and his brother vs each other :P
Anyway onto the set. Armin's set can be compared to Tiesto's NYE set and even may be a superior set some may say. Highlights were definitely Singing along to Satellites and going nuts to Super8 - Alba which is my tune of the F@#*en century

Also notable highlights for me were, Robert Nickson - Spiral and Nathan Fake - Outhouse!
His mixing seemed to be flawless, very smooth keyed mixing as shown below.

He was luvin up there, dancing around in between changing records and making silly faces.
Allthough I had to hang around there to change the DAT tapes, I still feel it was an awsome night, wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else, there is too many TA's and ITM's to name! everyone was there.
That's all I can say really, im sure the recording will bring back the memories.
Pee wee kicked off with some hard stuff like Carlo Reesort - Musica and Mike Robbins - Are You’re a Freak, but we packed up our gear and left shortly after.
Other notable highlights, getting mc donalds on the way home
