well the university station has a trance show and they play pretty good stuff. but in timmins, where i am now, there are hardly any music stations and they play country or hard rock and that's it.

Calgary has hurtin radio stations too. Closest we get to trance is Chris Sheppard on the radio. But every now and then they play some decent tracks. My buddy and I were driving one day..heard the DJ talking and in the background music..it was For an angel..we went nuts..then it stopped and they played some shit music like Britney(drool) or BSB(puke)

dont you guys in calgary get the gspot? i thought you did, hm.
anyways, i dont think our top40 station plays any trance right now. they did play darude - sandstorm last year, and a few robert miles tracks a few yrs ago, but thats about it. our rock alternative station however, plays some trance now and then, last week they played a full hour of paul oakenfold, some special mix

Dancing Dude

my area, singapore, asia
they've got this one n only cheesy station 91.3fm
that plays dance music.
usually the play the cheesy eurodance n pop stuff.
but now they've just signed a contract with BCC (sponsered by Levi's & Zoukclub singapore) to broadcast, Pete Tong essential selection every saturday live 9-11pm ..here...

guess i should really stop calling them cheesy for now...
"light" trance anf commercial trance usually make the mark here..
pvd - another way,
thrillseekers - synathesia (fly away mix)
darude tracks, fragma...

but lucky for tranceaddicts like me ..we have the internet n mp3s..
praise satan or jesus ! (no offence)

I refuse to label Fragma or Alice Deejay as trance!

Have you heard the Hennes&Cold/Liquid Love remixes of Say That You're Here??

i really dont listen to the radio that much but some times ill hear gigi d'agastino-ill fly with you, darude was big over this past summer and 103.5 used to play that around the world song all the time! that was the worst song ever!! if i ever hear anyone call that trance i will not be afraid to hit them. some stations play good tracks as background during ads or psa. i heard what sounded like green court-follow me(dumonde remix) during, what else, a dangers of ecstacy announcememt! *sighs to self*

On the original only-released-in-Denmark-and-limited-in-numbers-edition of the CD-single the phrase "The Bongo Song" was used as a sub-title. Actually you had better chances of hearing it at the local "club" if you asked for this than simply Safri Duo!

Wow, that was the theme for the BigBrother show here in Denmark this year. It was aired on a small independent station so funds where limited. That meant they approached an unknown DJ and asked him to do a track (although he worked with Parsberg of Safri Duo fame).
And know they're playing it in Chicago?!? But no Mauro Picotto - the world is an unfair place
