what a night, i'm still recovering hernan was nothing short of what i expected. he spun one of the best dj sets i have heard in nyc in a long time. centro was unfortunately not packed, but the 700 people who were there were very into it and there was an amazing vibe. hernan has to be one of the nicest dj's i have ever met. he came to the club early to hang with me and hear my set which really meant a lot to me being that he's one of my favorite dj's. i think he won over a lot of nyc fans this weekend and i'm really looking forward to his return to nyc. great pics taub and nice meeting you! thanks so much for all the compliments and to everyone who came early to hear me open the room!

lol, there's a funny story behind that. i couldn't find my cd's throughout my set and i for the most part spin vinyl anyway so it wasn't a big deal. however, close to the end of my set there were some tracks that i wanted to drop, one being the g-pal. so i mix in a record and start looking for my cd's. i couldn't find them anywhere! so i had the lighting guy turn on the lights in the booth. i look at the record that's playing and it's at its half way mark. so i start to panic a little and everyone in the dj booth (including my mom and sister who happened to come on sat night which was kind of weird) were all scrambling around the booth looking for my cd's. finally after a couple minutes i lift up a pile of flyers that someone must had just decided to throw on top of my cd's, burying them. so i grab my cd's, look at the record that is playing and there's only a little bit left in the record. i start throwing cd's into the cd player like a mad man and finally find the one with the g-pal. to make a long story short, the mix into that track wasn't as good as it could have been. ok so maybe the story wasn't that funny either way i love that track and thanks again everyone for the support. i had an amazing time!
