Fraz, technically you are in the right, ther copyright stays with you, and basically it is against the law for them to be publishing copyrighted material. It would have helped your cause to copyright them by typing onto the images but effectively the return argument is rubbish that you can't prove they're yours.
The way you can get around this is to contact their hosting company and tell them that if they do not take your copyrighted content off the site, you'll take further action - its easier for them just to drop the images than bother with an argument, this will prolly pressure the site owner/content manager as well, who i should imagine is who you've been emailing. Hosting companies get well edgy about their clients dealing with unlawful content.
The thing is that the site is prolly hosted by the people who own it, which takes the pressure off them a bit.
Kate does have a good point, you can alway's get back at her with a bit of manipulation along the 'i'd hit it' and 'owned' themes, and start throwing them everywhere - this is likely to bite her on the ass hard, and will make you feel better but its your call really.
