I just dont want no grief coz i get really nervous when i talk to the insurance ppl, esp his, coz they were quite rude to me on the phone like it was all an inconvenience to her!

Oh well, lucky i dont start uni till next monday, so hopefully il be ok until i start there.

OF course the other party's insurance people are going to be rude and try and fob you off...they DONT want to pay for your damage and stuff!

Mate, hassle them as much as you can. its not your fault, you do not have to pay out for this! it would be 150 quid left in your pocket to spend at uni as you see fit...

if there were witnesses around, you should have got reports, but as i said before, its her fault by default as she went into the back of you.

good luck geezer

Totally understand you there I used to work for an insurance company so I know the drill. Basically the other party will find as much excuses as possible to make sure you won't get a penny.
I find it odd that you're the one that has to make contact with his insurance co. (Maybe that's different in the UK, in Holland your company will call his).

If the last scenario is the case you must push 'em as much as possible to make sure you get your money
Even when it comes to your own company they sometimes tend to get lazy or think: "oh well a bumper and some lights, nothing special, just leave it.." and you end up empty handed.

But good luck with everything and make them pay
