i should rephrase that. first off my friends know they are heavy so they dont ask me if i think they are. second- you shouldnt lie in a relationship, how would you like it if you were on the other end and you were lied to? if the situation was reversed, you still dont know what you would do? you know damn well, you would break up with her and that is what you DO NOT want.

If I was in her situation, I would be a lot less angry if you told me than if I found out from someone else. So, I say you should just tell her and face the consequences for your stupidity.

Don't lie to her.
You've managed to get yourself in a situation that totally sucks, but it was your fault, whether you were trashed or not, you did it.
You have to face the consequences and take responsibility for your actions no matter how bad the consequences may seem.
Yeah she'll be hurt, especially after 5 years. But you have to remember that no matter what, eventually, chances are she'll find out and as someone pointed out earlier, if you don't tell her now, the trust that you guys have (which is already in the shitter now but could be patched up) is going to be gone. FOREVER. You can forget about her ever wanting to be near you again if you hide it from her like that. She's just going to be even more angry about it and i guarantee you it will be a long long time before she ever wants to see your face or hear from you again.
Best choice is to tell her, as hard as it may seem, you could always patch things up right now, make it up to her somehow (although i'm not gonna lie, your life is going to be a living hell for the next few months).
I really hope you tell her, if anything do it out of respect for her. She needs to be aware of what you've done.

You should tell her... but only in respect to her... not to justify your guilt over the situation.

if i could go back, i'd lie, we might still be together now. only lie if your sure it cant get out at all.

You've got to tell her. Not only is it the right thing to do, but could you really live with yourself knowing that you've slept with someone else, all the while she's still with you and thinks that everything's perfect?? Personally, I'd be devastated. I'd much rather someone was honest with me from the start than lie about it. At least that way I could still respect them for being truthful and truly sorry, even if I don't want to be with them anymore.

i believe this all happened in an Episode of Friends once before the show started sucking. Now what happened in the show is this - Have you ever heard of the chain? aka the Trail? Well the trail is that theory that everyone in the world is connected to everyone else in the world by 5 people. So you must go and find that trail that leads from the girl you slept with to your girlfriend.

Then you must kill everyone that is on the trail to make sure none of them can pass the information along. Then and only then can you live in peace.

Also if the chick was gone before you woke up. You could just say "I didn't have sex" because in your mind you didn't if you don't remember it. YOu could jus tsay "WelL I didn't want to say anything to you because I dind't think we had sex. I just woke up on the couch and she was next to me...

Not that unusual at a good house party if you ask me.

If you do remember having sex, and so does the girl, and it's common knowledge to friends that you did have sex at the party then ur fucked.

However, if you did this with people your GF doesn't know or will ever know - I wouldn't tell.
