Wow. This remake is horrible, in my opinion. I don't think any Tool song is suited for prog house, especially Aenema. I don't think the woman's voice fits the track too well. She sounds way off key. I don't think using Maynard's voice would work with the track either. I will stick to the original.

Noel Sanger Mix is incredible! Breaks at its best with a evil baseline.

Hey Noel, I checked out the clip on your site. Your remix is easier on my ears than PQM's. I think the vocals sound a lot better on your mix. Because I am a huge Tool fan, and because I have seen them perform Aenema live (so much intensity), I was a bit taken aback when I first heard PQM's mix. I guess that mix just didn't click with me. I like how your mix is darker and I think it fits the song better.

Is there a dub of your mix?

Noel your remix is IMO better than the original PQM mix. I also think the dark feel fits the song better. Great job. *Thumbs Up* to the fact that you are a TOOL fan. Keep up the good work. Release info anyone?

thx

thx for the kindness guys...

i have always loved that song and, yeah, i mean how badass would it have been with maynard's voice? my goal was to keep it clubby and at the same time get some of that original tool angst that resonates so well with me into the mix.

my mix, btw, is called the "global reset button mix" in reference to a comment ice-t made years ago about the whole world needing a giant reset button because it was so fuct. i can feel that more today than ever and these lyrics just fit completely. not that i'm all morbid or anything, but its actually consoling when you can hear art in which someone else shares your darkest fears and feelings. and that is why i LOVE tool.

peace

noel
