Since this seems to be a Fijneman thread now...
Agreed that Cor isn't always the most consistent producer, but he has put out some quality tracks in the past few years. Last year, Exhibition and The Red Bridge were fairly fresh-sounding trancers (particularly the latter). Venus is perhaps is best work to date although his mix is overshadowed by Tiesto's brilliant version.
Having said that, those were his commercial successes. The real gems require a little deeper digging:
DJ Salez vs. Cor Fijneman - Black Mamba / Lattitude
Impact vs. Cor Fijneman - No Way Out / El Matador
In particular the tracks with Impact are notable; El Matador is a deep, techy track while No Way Out thumps along in almost hard-trance fashion before breaking into a synthy interlude. Again, not your average trance.
He also did a solid mix of Ton TB's Electronic Malfunction, a good (arguably, granted) mix of Beautiful Things and, most recently, a vocal track with Anita Kelsey called Healing. I'm not a huge fan of the vocal but production-wise it's on par with anything he's done and there's an instrumental on the flip.
Sure, he's put out some duds (his Melancholy mix wasn't hugely inspiring, for example) but overall I'd say he's a solid, if not ground-breaking producer and doesn't deserve the negative rep he seems to have on here.
