i had a great night... nice to see u all usually peeps and others
Lafleche was nice, Josh.... what can i say, nice beats, i hate the fact that hes not mixing, it sucks....and DAMN he kept lowering the sound completly nowhere it fucked the groove....i dont know why but i didnt want to dance that much, it was always stopping too fast
the mix were poor, especially if we know that its beatmatched automatically....
anyway i like how Mäus ended the night, i stayed till the end and i had a fantastic night with friends and thats what its all about..... but TECHNO is better

I am surprised to hear that Josh actually mixed off his macintosh lap top... Was not he just using final scratch ?

i didnt like the fact that he was using a computer
yes it was one hell of a nice comp.......but i prefer good old plates

and if he didnt had to beatmatch at all
why is mix were not perfect :S

factor of skillz involved .....nearly zero...just had to turn the volume knob clockwise, sometime play with high, mid, bass knobs, somme little effects for as the rush comes :s
overall he mixed some great tracks but didnt offer a good djing performance
and wtf is he dooing with the sound level:|
the tune was just about to get to a high peak.....and the guy dropped the sound ...:S

automated djing programs sucks

our resident dj's mixed better witout shitty program

Highlights, TA meetup had a decent turnout, but the venue was a little noisy and cramped. Was nice to meet Josh Gabriel and chat a little, seems pretty down to earth.

Music was banging all night long, tracklisting was sick, his mixing was fine, however his fiddling with the nobs on the mixer was destroying the songs about half way through the set, he was drunk and he just destroyed some of the songs, on a cd it may sound ok, but to dance to, it sucks because you can't keep a rythim going when the music dies.

The sound was quiet that night, for the first time in all my trips to Aria I finally heard the lights coming down, even during breakdowns of other djs they were still too loud for me to hear the mechanics in the lights rising and lowering.

I'd go see them again, but it sucks that Dave didn't make it, he's more my style

It's too bad Dresden got stopped at the border. I think Gabriel may have needed some babysitting. For the most part an enjoyable set, but probably some of the worst mixing I have ever heard. He managed to bring the entire dance floor to a halt on more then one occassion.

It was also a perfect sized crowd. There was enough room to dance and walk around without bumping into sweaty people. Very nice.

Enjoy!

Well his mixing and effects were disapointing, but the music itself was good. And the people on the dancefloor were great, loved the vibe.

he also played : Oliver Lieb - Metropolis (Metro Us remix)
