ok lets see
1. weather is a bit colder than in vancouver right now. its not raining tho, which is a great thing since i get around by foot mostly (too afraid to bike :| )
2. coffee shops are said to be good, most of them. i had a couple of joints from this one place, it was excellent 
3. lots of blonds, yes, BUT, i have yet to see extremelly good looking people around here. no one can ever measure up to armin i guess lol
4. clubs, havent gone YET 
5. english is spoken by a majority but its better if you speak dutch. seeing how i dont speak a word in dutch, english it is. altho, i'm beginning to pick up some words here and there, commercials and cartoons seem to be the best way.
other things, people are not as friendly as they are in north america. it's just the dutch culture, not that they are being rude. for example, its quite common to people in vancouver to say thank you to the bus driver, here if you say thank you even after they stamped your ticket, they'll look funny at you. its quite amusing actually 
the architecture and surroundings are amazing! the weather is shitty, cloudy and depressing, but the city still looks beautiful. even the red light district looks neat. altho the fat, old and ugly women in the windows dont lol
the school computers here have msn. and i check my email quite often, hard to go on without it. this is my msn address [email protected] you guys can also send me text messages on my cell phone thru msn free, its kinda neat
i guess the big news of the last week for me was almost getting knocked out by a draw bridge gate. it was fun to say the least hehe
i send out emails to some people once in a while to keep them updated on my adjustment here. i guess i could copy my emails in here as well
i still miss home, but this trip is gonna rock!!
