well, you don't get any of that here...so that confirms it...London's fucking expensive haha

my mate has got a fantastic deal tho, his girlfriends parents own an apartment in London Bridge about 5 mins away from uni, with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, one ensuite bathroom, massive kitchen/living area, and he pays 90 quid a week, fully furnished etc!

wow.. thanks guys for all the responses. All the nice things said about Brighton are really making me reconsider whether I should really go to London.

The issue of rent is not really an issue, since I'm on a shitload of financial aid at my school here, so as a result, they cover the cost of room and board when I go abroad. So I guess I'm looking for the city that would be the nicest.

when you say nice city, what do you mean?

Brighton is really nice place, next to the coast, a few clubs and stuff, but its just not as interesting as London i suppose...

Clubwise, in London, you've got HEaven, Turnmills, Fabric, The End and a few others. For sightseeing you've got the Millenium Eye, the Tate Modern, and loads of other stuff, it just all depends on what you want to do

Imagine Camden but take away all the wierdos and scary people and set it beside the sea giving it a more chilled out feel- thats a bit like Brighton's North Laine area.
