also check out Tangerine Dream they have done music for many films and they are highly influential in all forms of electronic music from ambient to progessive trance.

i was listening equinoxe IV en 1981 (i was 8 years old)... that track and some tracks of vangelis introduce me into electronic music...

i was have put my headphones, close my eyes and dream... like trance music now.

Jarre is my main influence in just about every track. He is phenomenal - you can never get tired of his music, it's just awe-inspiring. Le Champs Magnetiques (can't spell in French) - was just a treasure. Oxygene Part II was also sweet. He actually produced JMJ Remixed - they're ok but not trancey enough.

I also find Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream and Yellow extremely satisfying when I need an inspiration.

Kosmonova did a remix of JMJ, I think...
