Iran used to be the most westernized middle-eastern nation before the revolution. The tourism industry was huge. I remember my uncle telling me that european clients didnt want to leave their stay and go back home to Italy, or greece or spain becuase they loved the warmth and culture of Iran. Then those turban wearing fukers came in and totally reversed what was prospering.
They changed the image of Iranians from classy people, to islamic freaks, imposing no shaving rules and woman covering themselves up.
