2 downloads at a time is because of internet explorer. It happens to me too. I use a download accelerator program, so i dont have that problem.

If you download Netscape, another browser, then it will allow you to download more than 2 files at a time.

May be theres a reason they implemented 2 downloads at a time

so how many people saw this thread title and were just gonna pop in for a flame unntil they realised it was a legitimate question

It has some spyware in there, there are probably better download accelerators out there like Getright or others, just search around at http://www.tucows.com under their software section
