I thought these types of programs were called rippers but when i search all i get is these complicated programs for taking mp3s of CD's. All i want is a program that can break up my long live sets so i can put them on cds. Anyone have any suggestions for some good programs.
dude use nero, write up a cue sheet and it breaks the tracks up

I know this doesn't answer your question, but get an mp3 palyer (ipod) and save the continuity of the set.

Dude, new version (I think its 7.0) of Sound Forge owns all. Its easy, you can apply some pretty cool effects, and you can save to almost every single digital sound format. If you wanna get really technical, you could go with Emagic's - Logic Audio Platnium 5.5 for PC, but a lot of ppl complain that there are too many bells & whistles attatched, I actually prefer work within Logic 90% of the time, and then touch up my audio in sound forge, but once again that's entirely up to the user. I hope that helps

Seems like overkill! He just needs to cut up a file.
