Hey, remember you are talking to Nelly. If they die they will go to heaven and all their problems will magically dissapear.

Incorrect, sir. They are likely Muslim, which means they reject God

(remember, God = Christianity)

So even though they were completely innocent, and even though it was OUR bombs that blew their intestines out, decapitated little children's heads, and tore Grandma's limbs clean off, they are heathens regardless and are not really innocent per se. So who cares really? We didn't have time to proselytize them to Christianity, and they're just going to hell regardless.

Sooo, oh well!

Abstinence will never work, if you think that abstinence is a realistic goal, then there's something seriously wrong with you. In the west there's no need for it, sex is a healthy thing. As for Africa, whilst it would indeed help stop AIDS, it isn't going to happen.

I never said sex is unhealthy, did I? Sex is a healthy thing within marriage. Not with every tom, dick and harry.

I'm not denying that civilians have died. But, Bush isn't going in and sweeping them all out like everyone seems to think. There will be civilian deaths, it's not pretty, but it happens.

We didn't go in to kill civilians, and we've done a pretty dang good job avoiding them.

The American people voted in Bush because they were disgusted and embarrassed with his predecesor. We're looking at America's role as a superpower this time.

Unsupported assertion. Since marriage is a man made institution, I can't see how sex outside of marriage is necessarily any different to sex within it.

Yes, civilians have died. Good, finally we agree on something. Yes, it does happen, as a direct result of the Bush administration's war on terror.

You don't seem to realize exactly how many Iraqi's have died as a direct result of 'Operation Iraqi Freedom'. Once again, go to www.iraqbodycount.net, and look at the figure. If you define that as a 'pretty damn good job of avoiding them', then there's something seriously wrong with you.

I never claimed that the Coalition invaded Iraq to explicitly kill Iraqi civilians, but they knew that thousands of deaths would result. I hold the view that the US invaded for economic/strategic reasons, but that really doesn't matter in the long run. What does matter is the fact that they lied about their motives for invading Iraq, and because of this, thousands of people are dead.

China has a better solution than abstinence anyways.

India however is out of control and they have no clue how to properly manage a society in this matter. Remember, when a government fails to manage properly, the people lose.

Edit : Referring to overpopulation mainly, AIDS is called USE A CONDOM

Marriage isn't man made. Even if it was, sexual relations outside of marriage still isn't safe.

Let me tell you something,if you didn't already know.
Saddam was killing his OWN people. We went in so that could stop.
Yes, civilians were killed in the war. But, that was totally not on purpose. It's happened in every war.

If you want to talk about killing Civilians, what about when Clinton had the cruise missle sent off, and hit and Asprin Factory?

Remind me, What happened on 9/11? What about those 3,000 civilians?

They never lied about anything.

Iraq war 1: 2,000 to 3,500source

Sept 11: 3000
source

Afghanistan war: 3,000 - 3,400 [October 7, 2001 thru March 2002] civilian deaths.
source

Iraq war 2: 8,400-13,000
source

considering this, i do think that Nellie was right in saying that america did its best to avoid civilian casualties, which are after all inevitable.

when comparing gulf war 2, an invasion and occupation war, the numbers look anticipated when compared to more ariel attack wars such as gulf war 1 and the afghan war. to put this more into presepective, dont forget that germany and russia had millions of civilian deaths in WW2. The korean war caused about 1.5 million civ deaths and vietnam was also around 1 or 2 million.

talking about civilian casualites, when you compare american tactics to those of other countries in their wars forget about it. can you think of how many civilians died in the iran/iraq war? how about Congo, Chechneya, East Timor? all i promise are above this war.

The US definetly deserves some respect for the military practices it holds in trying to minimize as best as possible civilian deaths.
