I think it's all a matter of open-mindedness. People hear trance and automatically have an opinion for it. If more people were like "well make me a cd of it and i'll listen to it" and then they formed an opinion of it, things would be better. Even if they didn't like it after that, at least you would know they actually took the time to listen to it and think about it. |
you'd think so! but have you considered the fact that there will always be hordes (read: vast majority) of people that simply must marinate in pop culture, whether this pertains to music or anything else; its just the way it is, most ppl are a bunch of eager beaver zombies just itching to absorb whatever trends the media churns out, i think there's no point in trying to change peoples minds or prove anything to them - i think most of us try to at one point, but after a while you realize why bother, just why f*cking bother, what's it gonna change, nothing.
