Indeed. I'd go with the stranger unless my pet is also a human, or unless the stranger happens to be an animal.

If you've owned a lovely dog for 6 years like me, it's common sense that you would save a life that you know rather than a life you don't know.

I own two dogs .. one for ten 10 years , n the other for 3 ... i would save the strange rather than any of my dogs ... it makes sense to me

maybe if u were the stranger u would understand that .

i feel really bad saying this, but pet. but i would be really quick so i would still have time to save the stranger..

I think that the stranger would be my choice..
