Wow a double-post, but with my post in the middle. I hereby name this the "Double-sandwich-post"

NI FM7
Novation V-station
Novation Bass-station
Z3ta+ (only not that much; need a better pc)
ReFX Vanguard (Just started using this one, Great!)

I will use Atmospere when I've got a new pc..

Looks like these VST's are almost everyone's favourites..

subtractor though not so much ne more, malström for my basslines, pro-53 hard leads, vanguard.. learing this but i can see it for more of a dumonde sound that i wan't to play with, supewavep8, great for quick supersaw sounds and Rebirth for all my 909 sounds!

would you also class some VST effects as synths? i mean.. not directly.. but without them i wouldn't be able to make my hard kicks.. so i guess in a way it's a synth Waves Native Platinum Bundle

Vanguard baby! best OSC based VSTi for trance to date..

HOWEVER (this is a big however)

A lot of the time it's leads can sound flat as hell.. When that happens I used sample based VSTis (Atmosphere) or Soundfonts..

and for my insturmental pieces.. I use samples and the Edirol VSTis (Orchestral, Super Quartet)
