And what about Fatboy Slim's Sunset (Bird Of Prey)? Excellent vocals but in my opinion the videoclip version is awful.
Please don't laugh! I think a lot of old Commodore games had brilliant music and the main title of Rambo is also a great tune.
weird thing happened to me yesterday. I was in the shower, and I started to make out what Fur Elise would sound like as a trance track. Hot damn would it sound good! Either that, or I have production skills that rival that of Tiesto. Man, I wish I had the setup to produce a track like that. Maybe someday I will. But dang, I think my version sounds pretty good, even though it's all in my head right now.
oh yeah... a lot of old video games would make awesome trance tracks. Take Zelda for Nintendo, or the old Super Mario theme, fool around with it for a bit, and I'm sure you'd get a club hit. heheh, maybe...

These are all amazing ideas. Right now Im working on tranceforming The Cure's "Burn" off the Crow I soundtrack. If you have heard Blackwatch - "Northsky" on Oakenfold's new cd then you can follow me. In the beginning I took the the first like 10 seconds of that song with sound of the ocean tide coming in and the birds cries in the sky. I think Im going to progressively drag that out for atleast the first minute then start in with the lyrics accompanied by a different trance beat I created. Hopefully towards the end I will be able to create something as beautiful as Tiesto did with The Silence. Ill keep ya posted.
