jeez... a $120+ needle being worse than a $30 one? Wow! Anyways i got hooked up w/ 2 whitelabels for $160, or $80ea at gc including tax. The cheapest online was from agiprodj.com which had them posted at $84 ea and 160 a pair. I had to bring in the add and talk to the manager for the pricematch.

I just stick with the ortofon scratch needles.
they sound good, handle well, dont skip... also a more robust needle.
the red scratch sylii look really nice on the black OM concordes... that's what I use

I was thinking of getting the scratch, are they decent ? Sound almost as good as the more expensive Ortofons ?

I'm unable to tell the difference between the nightclub and scratch needles, sound quality wise.
I think the scratch needles are normally the same price as the nightclubs, too.. but sometimes, they are sold for a little less of a markup (not as popular as the nightclubs)
