I wouldn't really say that PVD's style is unique. Its his own, but not that much different than, say other German trancers, like Taucher if you think about it. But,
Tom Middleton is probably the most unique, period. Sometimes I like what he does, sometimes I don't, but starting his sets with movie intros, mixing from house to breaks, to jazz all in the same set, has to make me put him as #1 if you're just counting individuality.
Danny Tenaglia is unique also, but fow what I know he's not as much out there. I still am waiting to see him live, since he hasn't been to Chicago in something like 5 years.
Hybrid have to get the most props though, because while they're completely unique, they're always good. They're always pushing the limits on where music is going with their mix of breaks + trance + prog house.
