I love my CDJ1000MK2s. I can promise you that if you go with the MK2s you won't be disappointed.

As I recall the CDJ800 pitch control only works in increments of %0.05 where the CDJ1000MK2 works in %0.02 in 6% mode. I could be wrong on this as I can't find any data online to back it up. Personally my only grip about the CDJ1000MK2 is that is doesn't go down to %0.01 in 6% mode and %0.02 in 10% mode. I can't imaging being able to avoid phasing using only %0.05.

The other thing it's missing is the is the WAV display that allows you to 'see' the track similar to the way you can with vinyl. Again, I couldn't live with out that.
