My first post btw. I just joined the crowd here.

I haven't heard much from this DJ but i'll check out the web to see what i can find.

I live in Austin and frequently visit Sky Vue (aka skylounge). Do any of you guys/gals meet up at the club for some dancing? I have 2 friends that are Friday night regulars (I volunteer Saturday mornings so friday nights i have to cut short :-( ). I'm trying to get "into" the scene a little more but can't seem to find the right crowd. anyway, just checking to see what's up. I'll try to be there.

Dude James Zabiela is easily one of the top 10 DJs in the world imo. He plays a lot of progressive and progressive break tracks. All of his sets involve live remixing, scratching, and sampling the man is simply amazing live. THE BEST technical DJ imo.

ok i will go check him out. i just hate going by myself. oh well. i'll be by the speakers most likely.

he'll be spinning downstairs correct? i really wish they would get a better light show system there. as small as the place is they could really fill the room with lazers with minimal amount of mirrors.

we should have some drinks before we go out, it would be cool lets plan it out. I dont know austin however so i dont want to be the planner in this one.

Andres: no we havent met, but joel and james have mentioned you before.

i know austin pretty well. just give me a timeframe and i will choose a good spot. something close to downtown and such. 6th street has plenty of bars for some pre-techno action lol. i know of one in particular that was booming with females the last time i went. could be a hit or miss thing but with the end of the semester coming up, i can bet that certain clubs will be packed.

my recommendation is always going to be baby acapulco margarita's. they put everclear in them sobs! 1 of those gets you a good buzz. i can't drink too much as i have to volunteer at the childrens hospital on saturday mornings. i'll be having a red bull early in the morning that's for sure.
