I kinda like electro trance, maybe it reminds me when I was a child and listened to my older brother's music

If you don't like it then don't listen to it. You can always listen to some of his older production with the typical dutch supersaw sound. IMO it's great that the producers evolve their sound to something of their own. Now Ferry has got his own style and soon when there will be a million tracks that sound similar to it he can change it again. Trance music and dance music in general evolves. Just try to live with it!

I think you'll find the most commercial sound at the moment across all genres is electro infused stuff.

Ferrys electro mission does nothing for me at all. Im impressed that hes moving in his own direction etc, but even now uplifting trance is evolving.. Theres plenty of tunes that dont use supersaw leads, but are using other elements, and are still epic and uplifting.

well the thing with ferry is that he uses tons of aliases. so he's actually still had a good number of purely uplifting trance tracks that he's produced... just under different names. anything w/ moonman (even tho they're a lil older) or if u check out ferry corsten vs. thrillseekers - sublime

If he'd stayed with his style, everyone would start complaining "meh, all his musics sound the same". Now that he's turning to another direction, people say "meh, his new sounds suck, he should've stayed in his older thing".
Arrested for having a cat, arrested for not having, as they say around here
BTW - I like his new musics. I like Right Of Way.
