Re: Bush and Blair made secret pact for Iraq war
And this is surprising how?
Seriously, it's well documented by now that Bush had Iraq on his mind from very first day he was in office. Of course, the conservatives continually attempt to find sound reasons for invasion, to the bitter end. The inescapeable (sp?) picture being painted lately is that the Bush Admin. willfully ignored conflicting evidence of the WMD to push their Iraqi invasion agenda.
It's funny when I hear conservatives argue this point they often mention the line of, "Well Bush went on the best evidence given at that time for everyone," which seems rather strange given what we know of the intelligence given to them from the CIA prior to his 2003 SOU speech (and Powell's UN speech as well), not to mention the aforementioned desires for Iraqi invasion prior to 9/11.
Furthermore, I have yet to receive a descent answer to the question of why the hurry to get the UN inspectors out of Iraq so we can bomb Saddam back in March 2003? Weren't they doing their jobs effectively, considering what we've found (or haven't found) so far? What was the f$cking hurry? Was war truly a means of last resort? It certainly didn't appear to be.
Hey Nellie, how's your conviction of finding WMD holding up?

Bronze, you seem like a nice person, so I want to be courteous and tell you that few people here speak French and understand what you are talking about. As for the rest of us here, English is the primary language, and would be much obliged if you used an English translator in the future.
I am personally interested in your opinion, but I simply cannot understand it.
Regards,
