ResurErection's just one of these tunes that people seemed to love at first, but then slagged when it got popular.

Anyway out of these probably Live Another Life, the track means a lot to me

ResuRection gets too much flak; it's really a decent track, and I can't help but think that people who deride it as pure cheese are doing so out of their own elitism. People still cling to the notion that attacking something popular somehow elevates their opinion and identifies them with the "underground".

Live Another Life, on the other hand, is an uninspired and flat remake that attempted to cash in further on the success of Silverbath.

Out of the three I would choose The Orange Theme, even though I've never been too fond of it. To be honest, PPK isn't far behind.

Cheers, nicely put.

Isn't "ResuRection" a tribute of sorts to the Russian Space Program? I think at least the video was. It's a cool message. And a catchy melody. One of those bleepy sine-wave things like "Ride". I like.

People underestimate the quality of ResuRection. Gimmicky melody aside, it's a very well-produced and surprisingly complex production that was admittedly overplayed. It may not be up there with The Orange Theme but there are countless tunes more worthy of the famous "cheese" moniker...

Exactly...

I'd pick em fo sho.

"ResuRection commemorates man's first trip into space, and features the theme from internationally acclaimed 1979 film 'Sibiriada'," explains Alexander Polyakov, one-half of PPK. "To really add atmosphere to the whole feel of the song we used samples of a cosmonaut's voice in space."

Some sources list the voice as that of Yuri Gagarin, but I can't confirm that, and I doubt it's true.

they way it should be called:

Wendy Carlos-Clockwork Orange Theme (Cygnus X remake)

but it's all about the Moonman remix. that's the Ferry Corsten I like.

Plastic Boy - Live another life.

PPK is pretty decent too, as a couple of posters mentioned. I really like most of PPK's work...eg. Golden Sunrise, Love Unlimited, Hey DJ and so on.
