I think Sahara is bloody awesome actually.

its not that bog standard trance I keep hearing a lot of, its very unique, those sounds are mental, and that guitar bit reminds me of Star Guitar by The Chemical Brothers, superb track!

It's about time somebody started this thread. I never really did like this song and just about every "trance" DJ is playing this song out. Markus Schulz just premiered his remix of it on the GDJB last night and I'm sure there's a bunch of new remixes in the work.

I'm sick of the original and that's not making the remixes any better.

It seems that songs that everybody knows about are always bad and overrated, and that the really good ones (note; With very good and very bad I mean the opinions generally expressed by others, and with that I mean that someone posts a thread about a song that is overrated, because there are hardly ever threads about songs that are underrated because it is so much easier to bash a track than it is to get or give credit for one) are the ones nobody ever hears about.

I wonder, if a track gets so much airtime (or whatever you want to call the 'attention' DJ's give to a track ie playing it in their sets) then either the DJ must like it a lot, or the crowd who he/she is playing for must like it. I don't see any other reason for playing a track, but IMO either reason is a justified one for playing the track.

And I know there will probably be some comments that 'mainstreamers' will like the track, or people who don't know a whole lot about trance will like it and it will get hyped (like ATRC did), but if thats the audience that likes it, so be it. What are you gonna do about it anyway?

Just my 2 cents.
