the smith & pledger remix is absolutly increadable, i havent head a tune this strong in a long time, check the SAMPLE

It does sound very A&B so it could well be the new original mix, i didnt get confirmation on the remix :S

i think the vocal is fine tbh, not cheesy at all. all the cheese is saved for ocean lab tbh. btw.. the smith and pledger mix has started to be played, keep your ears open!
