right, so im korean but been living in panama ever since i was bout 5 months old. been living the latin lifestyle sort of speak never been with another asian. i dont think race really matters at all it actually makes it more interesting cause you guys can talk about the differences and similaritires, introduce each other's cultures, etc. good to learn new things right?

Her mother was actually very excited to meet me (her father died when she was 15 so I never met him ) and she was even happier when I started to speak Japanese with her (she doesn't speak Portuguese very well).

If her father is a bit hard to convice, show her you're interested in the culture as well (if you really are, that is )... may be helpful

See my parents don't care about ethnicity but religion would create problems (don't ask why...christian parents are difficult). See I don't think ethnicity is a problem with most parents (because most families you think about your parents and their thoughts). Like if I get married, I plan to ask the girl's father for permission but my parents would know ahead of time. I'm not really looking to make my parents happy and they just want me to be happy and with the divorce rate so sky high, they want you to marry the one. As for dating a say japenese girl, if I had enough in common.....I'd consider it. I think it is only difficult for very racist parents, very racist cities, some in the US cannot stand interacial marriages. It really opens up a whole bag of worms, I mean so many different things enter in. I figure as long as you are happy then go for it!

I tried really hard with the whole family to impress them. My mates had a problem with it at firsdt but i said to them "Hey im happy, and your not!"....at the end of the day thats what lifes all about...being happy.

I don't really care about different races, I'll date any of them, aslong as I'm intrested in the chick, and shes hot and got a good personality, me parents are cool with it, they just want me to be happy, they don't care about race or religion.

I went out with a girl that was half black/white and I'm all white. It wasn't really a big deal we got along really well. She wanted us to be closer but before that happened I let her go because I was in love with some1 else. I kinda feel bad about it cuz I made her pretty sad and she felt all unwanted and stuff. The whole time i never really factored her race into anything, if you treat it that way I think things will be just great. Parents are the main problem in that kinda thing tho, dealing with the previous generation with anything about race is always a pain in the arse.
