And how the heck do they know whenever you are trying to hide stuff?? I just want her to know as little as possible but she always manipulates into telling me more. I find myself doing the same thing to other people. I just have to leave.
I have already been gone three times but now i came back and its the worst of all. Leaving again in a week thank God.

Well, I don't have to worry about turning out like my parents 'cause I'm already just like them.

Not that I feel bad about it -- on the contrary. And they're proud, too

my parents do my head in, they're great, i love 'em and all that, but they nag me all the time. ive been living back with them for the summer, going back to live at my own house in sheffield in 3 weeks and i can't wait, no more nagging!
as for turning out like my dad, i think i probably will end up something like him, but i don't mind, he's fairly successful

I guess it's just a normal phase in our evolution. It's always shitty when they are too "involved" in Ur life (espec. like StereoPrincess's mother..). What can U do? It's something they all feel like doing, it's something they feel it's not an option but a must.

And turning out like Ur parents... Who else had more influence in ones life then his/hers parents? As much as some don't admit it, it's true. It's the way things are going.

your try to lie though and they know and they bitch even more. i did the lying thing for a bit and it worked but once they catch you once its all over and they will never believe you again.

Hehe, that is so true. My parents caught me lying once, now, when I lie, they just pretend to believe me. But then I know they know everything. But I really lie soooo good now, they can never tell. But they're plan is "We don't believe anything you say, no matter what it is". So yeah, ur parents know u too damn well...
