Yeah what Cam said......i went on the P & O Pacific Sky Schoolies Cruise. It was the best time of my life also!!!!!
You get to go to some really cool islands overseas:
- Noumea, New Caledonia (not bad, can buy some cheap alcohol and BB guns to smuggle back onboard)
- Mystery Island, Vanuatu (pretty cool little island for chilling with friends, going for a swim, snorkelling)
- Isle of Pines, New Caledonia (OMG this is one of the most beautiful places i have ever seen. The most beautiful, fine, white sand, clear blue water cool snorkelling and also a cliff about 13/14m high to jump off. Awesome island!!!!)
The island day-trips were awesome, one of the highlights of the trip
Although it seems expensive, for what you get, the schoolies cruise is great value.
The actual cruise ship is huge, with casino, several bars, theatre, three swimming pools, big decks for sunbaking in lounge chairs, gym, 24-hour pizza parlour (so good, you must know what i'm talking about Cam), ice-cream parlour, three restaurants, gift shops, sports bar etc etc
The cabins aren't really that flashy, but who cares? we barely spent any time in them anyway.
Every night was a (drunken) blast....drinks are very cheap......cocktails are the schiznit on the cruise, only about $4 i think, for awesome cocktails.
I have to agree with everything that Cam said.........best time of your life, awesome night life, RIDICULOUSLY GOOD FOOD and loads of alcohol
The best part about the cruise is probably the fact that you can still go on it if you aren't 18 (as i was) and get pissed every night...age is no barrier, unlike Schoolies on the gold coast.
Also, there is nothing like watching the sun rise as you sail into Sydney Harbour, with the decks of the Pacific Sky packed with about 1500 people watching the beautiful harbour, all huddled in blankets to keep warm.
