Yes as I look out my window, what is that I see? That's right, the worlds largest garbage dump.
They say The Staten Island Dump & The Great Wall of China are the only man-made structures that can be seen from space.

How did Staten Island get it's name? The Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria were approaching and Christopher Columbus peers through his telescope and asks " IS-THAT-AN-ISLAND?"

A few popular house djs came out of Staten Island (Sal Parm & Anthony Acid) if not mistaken, also always helps when you live in walkin distance of the Wu-Tang headquarters. Word on the street is, they used to hang out at my local b-ball court pretty often back in the day...
