Al-Qaeida does not represent a body, a government or an institution, neither is he the representative of all terrorist organisations. It would be outrageous to reconcile with him as he is not the leader of all groups. we are giving him too much credit as it is imo. he can feck off

It pisses me off how they all say "stop attacking Muslims" in the east. Do they not realise that religion has got nothing to do with it?? If they possess the weapons and the balls to attack us and other countries (like the US), then of course we're going to use military force to stop them, Muslim or not. Bunch of wankers.

The attacks in US, Spain, and attacks that are going to happen in Britain take place because of US, Brit, etc. interference in the east. Imperialism is wrong, to oppose it is right. And although attacks on civilians can't be condoned in any way, it's understandable why they're happening.

War in any sense is wrong, so it's understandable that they would retaliate if they were attacked. I'm no history expert, but who started it all?? I find it hard to believe that one day, America and Europe thought to themselves "lets bomb the fuck out of Iraq today". Which resulted in a retaliation of sorts by Iraq.

If that is the case, it's not Iraqi civilians who are being targeted by the US and UK, it's the military installations that could house weapons of mass destruction that are being bombed. If there are madmen in the east who have proved in the past that they're stupid enough to actually attack the west "in the name of God" ( ) then I say our governments have a responsibility to neutralize the threats. Retaliation is obviously expected, but what they do is unforgivable. And they should be stopped.

Not sure of the history myself. But when Saddam was at war with Iran he was backed by the US, I'm not sure of what happened to ignite the Gulf War (perhaps Saddam invading Kuwait who are friends with US/Britain???) Similarly when the Afghan fighters (including Bin Laden and co.) were trying to put the Russians out it was the US who helped also. The western superpowers evidently back whichever side best suits the agenda they're toeing themselves.
In the first Gulf War around 300,000 Iraqis were killed/murdered by Britain/US, the latent number of deaths was much much higher. Then there's the US influence (or should I say practical control) of Israel who are currently occupying Palestine. So things like NY/Washington and Madrid weren't attacks on America and Spain, they were acts of retaliation.
As for the current events in Iraq, I feel sorry for the population of the country and for the wives and children of the occupation soldiers getting killed. As for the occupation forces themselves, well they have no right whatsoever to be there, and if it means one or the other getting killed, better it be the imperialists than the Iraqi resistance fighters.

I dont think that it's a question of controlling people, it's a question of making sure that any threats on the west are kept under control. America and Britain have had nuclear weapons for years, but they are just a deterrent. If the lunatics in the east got hold of them, they would willingly use them against whoever they wanted, which makes them dangerous to the rest of the world. That, in my book, means we have every right to be there.

It is unfortunate that so many civilians have been killed, and you're right, we have no business interferring with their internal affairs, but as soon as they pose a threat to the rest of the world something has to be done.
