hmmm.. well i mentioned taking the guitar approach because this song, just like ATRC, is getting a LOT of remixes (mainly due to the ajunabeats competition). But I have yet to hear one with a guitar, and people mentioned you dropped a guitar-like sound into your remix.
I like the instrumental breakdown, but it would be nice to hear real guitar sounds to complement the vocals. and then when the song starts up again, I think it needs some more depth on the lower scale. The vocals are fine (although adding a couple effects here and there, smartly done of course, would really add to your remix), the percs I think are fine, the melody is fine, it just feels kind of empty on the lower end, if you worked it a bit more, this track could really have a lot of dark driving energy and really push things, and with that guitar in the breakdown it would blow my mind.
But take my suggestions with a grain of salt, because I'm not producer, and my technical knowledge is limited.
By the way, I re-listened to your 'space' sample, and that 'guitar' sound, well maybe my speakers aren't hooked up properly again yet after taking them out last night but it sounds alright, although it also sounds a bit.. how do I put this... compared to the rest of your samples and sounds, that guitar sample sounds like a lower bit sample. The quality doesn't seem to match, sounds almost a bit cheesy at this point. But what do I know? hehe.
But don't take any of this the wrong way. What you got, at this point in time already, is great. Also, as a critique, I'm always honest, and I'm always picky. If someone straight up says, 'here you go, something to listen to and enjoy' with no expectations for feedback, I keep quiet and enjoy it. But if someone askes for feedback, I try to give them my honest opinion. You also have to consider, since I lakc in technical ability, I try to make up for opinion and feedback with personal preference and taste.
