could it be simple supply and demand? it seems that most vinyl is short run which is why i can't seem to find any of the old tracks that i am looking for, whereas you can always find a copy of any cd if you look hard enough. so because the vinyl is small production run and there are x numbers of dj's willing to buy it to spin it, then they can charge more for it. i've always noticed that vinyl that doesn't sell well tends to come down in price. waddaya all think?
