hype williams is the biggest hip hop video director ever.

every HUGE video, basically, he did it.

personally i think he was a hack, but it's still kind of sad to see people die tragically.

Timbaland makes almost the best beats ever to come across Rap & R&B. He is a great producer and has that very unique sounds with anything he produces. He has worked closely with Aaliyah & produced all of her hit including "Try Again", the only hit that wasnt produced by him was "Age Aint Nothing But A Number" which was Aaliyah's first hit on the top 10 billboard charts at the age 15. Although I do not understand what you mean about Hype williams being a tragic loss as well? Please explain

As far as Aaliyah goes this is definitly a tragic loss for the R&B/Rap community scene. She will definitly be missed. She was beautiful, talented, and a great person. I really never heard a bad thing about her. There will be no other like her, what a shame. I can only imagine what her family/friends & biggest fans are going through right now. What a tragedy, she was a girl with great expectations.

Rest In Peace Aaliyah

This is a pretty big hurt to the R&B Community. Hype Williams was definitely the best Music Video creator in the past few years. Aaliyah's career was already taking off and was continuing to blossom with her movie career.

It's a sad day.

Well, I heard this shocking news today morning on my way to some family meeting on the radio, I was damm, she was YOUNG , and as everyone has said, talented and good looking, had a very bright future ahead of her, as much as I hate R&B, its sad to see some one from other genre die tragically, I feel sorry for the many fans of her, and those into that music, but we all know she's in a better place now.

Much respect to Aaliyah .
rest in peace.

I really liked Aaliyah as a person, though I did not like the music she made... Really nice down to earth personality... and a very promising actress, too... I loved her in "Romeo Must Die"... Can't wait for Matrix 2... they said she just finished it... She'll be remembered... Rest In Peace...Bounce

Never listened to her music but, like many others, saw her in the movie "Romeo Must Die."
Yeah, really sad. She was 22? I thought she looked older.

This is really sad. Although I never listened to her music I'm saddened that a person with a successful career and life ahead dies so young. Has anybody else thought about the other Americans who died in the crash too? Plane crashes are so horrible because they end up taking lives and ruining others.

I hope there was some reason for those people being taken from this world, I surely can't think of one.

I understand where you're coming from. I really wish that there was a reason.

JFK, Jr. comes to mind as the most recent plane crash that I can remember.
