a lot of what i've already wanted to say has been posted already...

the only other thing i have to add on is that beeping synth that can be heard really adds a lot of muddiness to the track... it's taking up the 300-800 hz spectrum as far as my ears can tell (the synth comes in on places such as 6:12)

Anyways, good job with the track, pretty well produced but could take bit more work fine-tuning it... I'm not too big of a fan of this type of typical uplifting but there are still a lot of ppl out there that will enjoy this type of stuff.

good luck

hmm vocal is cool.

the melody is quite ok, though your perc are bit more dominating, thing its a matter of turning up the volume of the synths a bit.

the break is ok, ya don't add the piano, and not sure why the kick is so low in the breakbeat.

main kick is not punchy i agree.

work on it more before sending.

Thumbs up

Cool stuff,

like this one, but please don`t make the same mistake like me. Don`t disregard the percussions. Choose a more punchier bassdrum. I also wouldn`t let play those unrhythmic hihat@3:10 without other percs.

I would also alter many other littlenesses, but I`m a real tinker, and not everything sounds better the more you tinker on it.

Had a real good play about with this one and think I've got it pretty much nail on the head now.

Changed the piano melody to something a bit more contrasting.

Added some major delay and reverb to my vocal sample aswell.

Got the EQ on me percs sounding a lot better.

Taken some of the muddiness out from my intro synth riff, and added a cool fatness flanger and short stereo delay.

Increased the volume of lead to help it stick out a bit.

Still struggling with a couple of things tho:

1. The Big Boom - Need to know how to alter the length of the boom, or get a sample of a longer boom. I only know simple preset modding.
If anyones got any presets for any of the major software synths, I'll be really happy.

2. A punchier kick. Got the EQ a bit better on the one I'm using at the mo, but havent got any pro-sounding kicks in my sample collection. Any1 want to help me out?

If any1 wants to hear this second version then send me a private message or MSN me on [email protected]. If any1 wants it posted on TA, then just let me know and I will do.

Cheers for all the feedback and help guys.

Overall the mix sounds nice & solid.
Mastering is good, nice use of fx and the melody is very good.
However the lead melody sample doesn't have enough presence in the overall mix. Increase the volume slightly & give a boost to some of the high frequency's to help it cut through the low/mid ones which seem to be drowning it.

Nice work
