Sadly, it is quite common for surgical instruments, sponges, etc... to be left in patients after surgery. Scary, but true.

Yeah many cases infact, i saw a indian women on ripley belive it or not also as well.

Sad but the agonizing pain one has to suffer?!

I just realize how fucked up this is.

does the doctor just decide to rest his/her scissors on a patient's heart, or a scalpel on my brains?!

isnt there assistance that overlook this shit, better yet, arent THEY SUPPOST TO GIVE AND TAKE THE INSTRUMENTS!

one of my buddies parents is a lawyer, and was actually representing somebody who woke up during their operation. They were able to recount the music playing, as well as the conversation the doctors were having.

If im not mistaken, there are 3 seperate parts to the anesthetic which they use. 1 to put you to sleep, 2 to paralyze you, and 3 to...ah i dont remember. but people wake up when the equation doesnt balance and there isnt enough of the sleep one.

some peopla are actually alergic to the sleeping part of it...so they just give them the paralizing and numbing one.Imagine that ...You awake through out the whole thing ..Brrrrrrr
